Phillips Enterprises Solar Power Display Production

At Phillips Enterprises we love sunny summer days.  The sun rays help power equipment to produce our customer’s displays.  When the sun is shining, it means we are helping preserve the environment by generating electricity naturally.   In 2014, Northeast Solar completed the installation of a 45kw solar array on our warehouse building.

There were many positive reasons for this decision: solar power reduces our energy bill and saves our valuable resources, solar power is a renewable energy resource and an alternative to fossil fuel, panels are environmentally friendly and last 20-30 years with minimal maintenance.

While most Americans are excited about the solar eclipse today, most solar arrays will see a significant drop in production during those 2 hours.  Good thing a total eclipse does not happen that often and the total eclipse only lasts a few minutes!
